We have long put up with corrupt leaders, both on the left and the right. Serious concerns about ethics in our state caucuses have come to light regarding hundreds of missing votes. Most of the missing votes were cast for 2012’s only conservative candidate, Ron Paul.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget, never voted for gun control, and he has never voted to increase the debt ceiling. Paul is the only candidate these facts belong to.

Paul, in a speech on the House floor in 2001, predicted the housing collapse of 2008. Thousands of observant and concerned Mainers paid attention, and cast their caucus votes for Paul this year, only to have many of them hidden, lost and effectively stolen from the sight of the electorate.

Paul is the only candidate with a published plan to significantly reduce the national debt; as president he would cut $1 trillion from wasteful spending without taking a dime from Social Security, veterans’ benefits or national defense. He would accept a presidential salary of $39,000.

Paul is honest, and he will fight for us. Unfortunately, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum would protect the interests of lobbyists. Interested people are asked to support Paul’s candidacy: CommonSenseVoteRonPaul@gmail.com
