With 178,000 family caregivers in Maine, there is a great need for support and local services. Caregivers are often under great emotional and financial strain in their efforts to care for their loved one

I want to thank the Maine state legislature for showing their support of family caregivers through the passage of a joint caregiver resolution.

My mom had dementia. It took a toll on the whole family.

We need our elected leaders to continue to shine a spotlight on the challenges many caregivers face and work together to offer long-term solutions.
