Rain did not deter the East Benton Fiddler’s Contest, Convention & Bluegrass Festival on Sunday, as musicians and fans flocked to Littlefield Farm in East Benton.
The program included an adult and children’s fiddle contest, a children’s activity area and a fiddlers’ workshop and showcase, with performances by the Half Moon Jug Band, the Country Choir, the East Benton Jug Band and T-Acadie.
The annual festival, which began about 50 years ago, drew attendees of all ages.
