James “Jim” S. Littlefield

AUGUSTA – James “Jim” S. Littlefield, 73, of Augusta, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at home with his family and friends by his side. He was born in Skowhegan on Sept. 10, 1948, the son of Horace and Yvonne (Fortin) Littlefield. Jim worked for Statler Tissue until the mill closed, and then became a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and being with family at the casinos. He is predeceased by his parents; and all grandparents. Jim is survived by his wife and companion of 41 years, Dale Littlefield; his loving boxing buddy, Thumper Littlefield (cat); son, Tracy Markham, daughter, Tammy Brown; two grandchildren, Crystal Brown and fiancé Christopher Bolduc and Amanda Brown “rabbit ears”; three great-grandchildren, Ryder James, Maddison and Landen Bolduc; a brother, Horace Littlefield and wife Stephanie, of Florida, a sister, Lisa Libby and husband Greg, of Skowhegan, three sisters-in-law, Vicki Adams and companion Todd Pooler, Sue Bell and husband Bob, Joyce Lupien and husband Tom, brother-in-law, Forest “Tony” Perkins and wife Bonnie; aunt Pauline Heath, of Vermont; a special niece, Nicole (Pooler) Baker and fiancé Ashley Allen; several nieces, nephews; cousins; great-nieces and nephews. To fulfill James’ wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
