The warming of our earth’s climate is destroying our environment and killing people and animals. The principal cause is the burning of fossil fuels: oil, natural gas, and coal.

I urge you to vote no on Question 1 to save our planet and ourselves by replacing fossil fuel in this case with clean hydropower.

Voting no on Question 1 is one of Maine’s most important environmental votes. Forget the side issues. We simply need to start here curbing the use of fossil fuels wherever they occur by promoting the use of clean energy.
