Do you think Avangrid should halt construction on the NECEC powerline corridor now that Mainers have rejected it by referendum? 

The results of the Nov. 2 election were decisive: Maine does not want the New England Clean Energy Connect powerline corridor to move forward. Avangrid, parent company of both CMP and NECEC Transmission LLC, however, shows no signs of backing down. In fact, the company vows to continue with construction as it fights the results of the vote.
