A candidate for public office must affirm certain truths before voters can understand his or her position on policy issues.
Randall Greenwood, representative for Litchfield, Monmouth and Wales, refuses to answer whether Maine’s voting system is safe and secure. A “yes” answer is easy and readily verifiable and defensible.
By not responding, Greenwood is contributing to the “Big Lie” about the 2020 election. As a result, the “Big Lie” continues to be a clear and present danger to our country.
Kent Ackley, who is competing for Greenwood’s seat in Litchfield, Monmouth and Wales, has answered this question. To quote Kent, “If your side rejects a loss determined by voters, courts, and members of their own party, you might consider that the goal of pursuing power has now surpassed the goal of self-government”.
We need a candidate who is not afraid of affirming the truth. Kent Ackley gets our votes.
