I’m voting for Dave LaFountain for state senator.

He is clear that it is a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her body and that no one should interfere with that freedom. Dave grew up in Winslow, graduated from and sent his children to the Winslow public schools and now has grandchildren in that system. His dad was a teacher so he understands how important good public education is.

Dave knows from his own experience with cancer how crucial it is to lower the cost of the life-saving pharmaceuticals for everyone. As a fire chief Dave has had first-hand experience tackling the opioid epidemic and understands the need for more resources for prevention and treatment.

Dave is used to serving his community and will carry this tradition on as senator from District 16 serving the people of Winslow, Waterville, Fairfield, Oakland, and Albion. Firefighter, father, friend; I’m voting for Dave.
