Alicia Lawson is a dedicated mother of five children who encourages them to search for knowledge and understanding and to show compassion and kindness to everyone. Not just at home, but throughout the community; whether utilizing “teaching moments” inside her own home or meeting with a person in need to lift their spirits, she lives and leads by example.

She is actively engaged in ensuring that parents can continue to have a say in their student’s education. Alicia does not shy away from challenging work. She shows up and gets the job done.

As a member of the School Board, she will advocate for the academic, emotional, and physical needs of each student.
