Jason Simcock has joined Northeast Bank as senior vice president, senior government banker. In this new role, Simcock will serve government banking customers to create customized banking solutions with top savings rates and low to no fees to maximize the return on funds.

“We are pleased to have Jason join our Government Banking team. His experience as a town manager and government banker provides a unique understanding of what government banking customers need, which will be helpful as we expand our government banking offerings,” said Robert T. Banaski, senior vice president, director of Community Banking, according to a news release from the Lewiston branch.

Simcock joins the bank from Androscoggin Bank where he was vice president, director of Government Banking.

Simcock worked in municipal and state government for over 17 years prior to starting his career in government banking, including three communities in Maine and one in Vermont. He brings an extensive background in town management, community economic development and municipal budgeting to his position at Northeast Bank.
