Julie M. Marin

AUGUSTA – Julie M. Marin, 61, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

She was born in Augusta on Feb. 27, 1962, a daughter of Richard H. and Marguerite B. (Arnold) Strout. Mrs. Marin attended Gardiner Area High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life.

Mrs. Marin was predeceased by her mother, Marguerite B. (Arnold) Strout.

She is survived by her husband of 30-plus years, Gerald P. Marin of Augusta; her children Rodney Strout of Chelsea, Kelly Strout of Augusta and Christopher Dubriel of Gardiner, a stepson, Nathan Marin of Waterville; her father, Richard H. Strout of Chelsea; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may visit on Monday, March 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. There will be no funeral services or burial.
