Shirley A. Bouchard

AUGUSTA – Shirley A. Bouchard, 81, died Saturday, May 27, 2023 following a long illness. She was born in Bangor, on March 1, 1942, a daughter of the late Harold and Elzora (Wing) LeClair.

Mrs. Bouchard had been employed for many years at Digital Equipment Corp. and had also run her own daycare, Kiddie Corner, for over 20 years. Along with being a Crossing Guard with Augusta Police department for several years.

She was pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years Asa C. Bouchard Sr.; two brothers: Andy and Harold LeClair and a sister, Carol Ouellette.

Mrs. Bouchard is survived by her son, Asa C. Bouchard, Jr. of Augusta; two daughters: Bonnie Williams of Waterville and Michelle Bouchard of Orono; two sisters: Lorraine Tuck and her husband Richard of Eddington and Mina Burr of Yarmouth; a brother in-law Raymond Bouchard and his wife Susanne of Litchfield. four grandchildren: Alpha Williams, Jr. and his wife Danyl, Michael Williams, Felicia Williams and Norton Revell; nine great grandchildren: Ethan, Gavan, Gabrielle, Alpha, III, Zoie, Tessa, Lauren, Lydia and Mason as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At her request, there will be no public visiting. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be at American Legion 396 Eastern Ave, Augusta, Maine 04330 – September 10. from 1-4 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME.
