Breeze Airways is adding Fort Myers to its seasonal service between Portland and Florida.
The low-cost carrier will begin non-stop service to Fort Myers on Nov. 15, operating flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays through April 30, 2024. In announcing the new service, the Salt Lake City-based airline said it will offer introductory fares of $89 one way for purchase through Sept. 18 for travel through the end of April.
The airline began service from Portland International Jetport to Florida in May, offering flights to Orlando and Tampa. It also offers service from Portland to Charleston, South Carolina; Islip/Long Island, New York; Norfolk, Virginia, and Pittsburgh.
“We are pleased to see Breeze continue to invest in the Portland community,” said Paul Bradbury, airport director in a release announcing the new service. “Today’s announcement means Mainers have non-stop access to our top three Florida destinations with Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.”
Breeze focuses on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times. Details on the introductory fares, including excluded dates of travel, are available at flybreeze.com
