George LaPointe and his wife Hilary were very active in the Hall-Dale school community. They volunteered to be sure that academics were strong, but they also worked with teachers, staff and other families to provide arts and cultural enhancements for all kids — not just those whose families could afford it. Their two sons were a wonderful reflection of their parents, as they were top students, musicians, athletes, and most of all, humans.

George has worked very hard as mayor for the last three years, and we are lucky he is running again. During his term, he shepherded the city through a worldwide pandemic, helped local businesses thrive, and knew how important it was to have a safety net for individuals and families facing obstacles. George clearly loves Hallowell and his passion for the city and our people have been instrumental to our success. Please re-elect George LaPointe for mayor of Hallowell on Nov. 7.
