I support George Lapointe for reelection as mayor of Hallowell. He shows a due regard for taxpayers, while balancing the needs of our people, and looking to the future of our city.

George’s experience including five years of service as a Hallowell councilor, and three years as mayor, augurs well for his constituents.

One of his many accomplishments is successfully guiding the city’s participation in the development of Stevens Commons, a vibrant mixed-use development that enhances our city, recognizes our history, and contributes to our tax base.

George speaks softly, is an active listener, but he is no pushover. If you disagree with him, be aware that you should have your facts lined up, and know he takes his positions thoughtfully.
