We would like to give thanks for the kindness shown to us on Christmas Eve. My husband had just gotten out of the hospital, after five days in Bangor. It was just after the storm that left us with no power, heat or water. On our way home, we decided to stop for a late lunch at the Purple Cow in Fairfield. After a delicious hot meal, I asked for the bill, and was told it was taken care of.

We’ve never had this ever happen to us. We were truly grateful for this act of kindness. Even though we do not know who was responsible for this beautiful gesture, we intend to pay it forward when the opportunity comes.

What a merry Christmas and happy new year blessing. It put a smile on our faces during a very hard time. You were our Christmas angel. Thank you again.
