It is a privilege to endorse Rep. Bruce White for reelection to Maine’s Legislature. In a time of division and upheaval at the national level — in the U.S. Congress and in the Supreme Court — it is vital that we support local legislators who excel in working effectively across the aisle for the common good.

Rep. White is a quietly forceful, compassionate, and savvy legislator whose votes and bills support fairness and justice for educators, children, families, older people, people with disabilities, and election workers. He does not discriminate against people on the basis of gender, race, or sexual preference.

Keep your eyes on the ball, people! Far-right extremists with authoritarian tendencies, billionaire donors, and skilled propagandists (both foreign and domestic) seek to dismantle our democratic system of government. Dividing Democrats is one of their strongest tactics.
