As we enter a campaign season rife with political partisanship, it’s refreshing to reelect diplomatic, hard-working, and kind politicians to state office who put people before politics.

Mainers tell us year after year that they want productive and collaborative legislators in Augusta. Rep. Bruce White is exactly that person. As a member of the Transportation Committee, Bruce voted for a transformative transportation budget in 2023 to provide critical long-term funding to maintain the infrastructure of Maine. This was a difficult vote, but one that benefits every person who travels Maine roads.

Bruce always does his homework and isn’t afraid of difficult conversations. He is willing to take political risks and he thinks critically about his votes. Bruce and I don’t agree on every issue, but it’s clear his work in Augusta is driven by his belief in service, his big heart, and his deep commitment to the people of Waterville.

I hope you will join your neighbors on June 11 in reelecting Bruce and sending him back to Augusta to continue working hard for your district.

Rep. Lydia Crafts
