Political smear, dirty pool, rigged, setup; call it what you will. These are some of the terms Donald Trump and many of his followers use to describe Trump’s legal woes. They blame it on prosecutors in NYC. They blame it on Joe Biden. They call it election interference. But they don’t ever offer any evidence as to what prosecutors or what Biden might have done to cause Trump’s unfortunate circumstances.

Maybe I am naïve but I do not think Biden has much sway with the Department of Justice. After all, his own son is being prosecuted by the Department of Justice. It seems 12 of Trump’s peers have decided he is guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records. I guess in the end it all comes down to one’s own actions. Don’t falsify business records and you will not be indicted for falsifying business records. Don’t get indicted and you will not be convicted. It really is not a difficult concept.
