BOWDOINHAM  — The Maine New Farmers Project at University of Maine Cooperative Extension plans to offer a farm visit from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at Stonecipher Farm at 1186 River Road.

Farmer and owner Ian Jerolmack will discuss no-till farming techniques and marketing. This event is geared toward people interested in starting a farm in Maine or who have started one in the last ten years and provides an opportunity to learn important skills as well as network with other farmers and service providers, according to a news release from the extension office.

The event is free, to register visit extension.umaine.edu.
