AUBURN – Elizabeth C. Furlong, 78, of Richmond, passed on Aug. 19, 2024, at the Hospice House in Auburn after a long illness.
Born March 17, 1946, to Bernard and Carmen Thyng, Elizabeth was a member of the church at Richmond Corner. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, church activities, church youth group, vacation bible school, singing, and being outside.
She worked at SAD 75 in Topsham as a bus driver and as a custodian where she retired.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, and her grandson Nicholas.
She is survived by her son James Ross of Augusta, Gayle Ross of Richmond, sisters Ann Babb and husband Russ, Barbara Greenlaw and husband Wayne, granddaughters, Kassandra and Makayla Ross, grandson Dylan Calden, and nephew Peter Babb.
There will be a visitation from 4-7 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., in Richmond, Maine.
