Affordable housing is a significant issue in Augusta and Maine in general. I believe Marcus Emerson has the right approach to address this problem. Marcus’s plan to reduce regulations to promote economic and housing development is a practical solution that will benefit all of us.
As a small-business owner, Marcus understands the importance of creating an environment where businesses and housing developments can thrive. His commitment to cutting unnecessary red tape will make it easier for developers to build affordable housing, helping to alleviate the housing crisis in our community.
I’m more than confident that Marcus Emerson’s leadership will lead to more opportunities for affordable housing in Augusta. I urge my fellow Augusta residents to support his candidacy on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
