As a lifetime resident of Pittston, the outdoors was his passion and sanctuary, whether it be on a tractor in the hay fields, plowing and planting in the family gardens or in his boat on a lake or pond. Moosehead Lake and Bingham held a special place in his heart as it is where he and Gram spent many family gatherings with his children and grandchildren. Hunting was a passion of his, he taught all his kids gun safety and to respect nature. Every child had to learn how to carry a gun by using a stick first and safety was top priority. Racecar driving was another passion of his #25. He worked for EC Barry Trucking, WB Sparrow and retired form Blue Seal Feeds after 25 years.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends near and far. ‘Til we see you again dancing, haying, hunting/fishing or smoking your pipe again. Your legacy will live on with all his children and future generations.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m., at the Putnam Cemetery Whitefield Road (Route 126), followed by a celebration of life at his home.
