JAY — The Jay/VFW Post 3335, along with AMVETS Post 33 and American Legion Post 10, are set to host an event at the POW/MIA Memorial Site beside the Jay bridge, 12 Riley Road, at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.
The event will include patriotic music, family members of prisoners of war and/or missing in action veterans, guest speakers, United Bikers of Maine, and the Maine Civil Air Patrol Cadets. After the ceremony, attendees are invited to the Jay VFW Post 3335, 64 Jewel St.
The Memorial Bridge will be closed for approximately 20 minutes for this ceremony once the Bikers arrive (estimated to be 6:20-6:40 p.m.).
