READFIELD — Kennebec Land Trust and U.S. Department of Agriculture Wildlife Biologist Ben Nugent plan to give a lyceum workshop, Resolving Conflicts with Beaver, a program about beaver biology, ecology and management.
The workshop is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Rosmarin & Saunders Family Forest on Nickerson Hill Road.
Nugent provided technical assistance to KLT for the installation of a deceiver fence at a beaver site and will talk about why and how to install one.
The workshop is free.
