MECHANIC FALLS – The Maine Country Music Hall of Fame, in collaboration with The Maine Historical Society “Music In Maine” exhibition, is set to present its annual benefit fundraiser show, Extravaganza 2024, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at The Silver Spur Dance Club, 272 Lewiston St.

The three-hour live show will feature a lineup of Maine Country Music Hall of Famers from all over the state.

House band members include Hall of Famers Denny Breau, Dana Flood, Chris Fyfe, George Harnish and Rick McAlister, with emcees Peter Allen and Ken Brooks hosting. Additional Hall of Fame performers include Joan Kennedy, Don Nickerson, Lisa Higgins Overlock, Ginny Palmer, Buzzy and Kathy Vanadestine, Peter Allen and Ken and Jane Brooks, according to a news release from Maria Holloway with the hall of fame and museum.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets cost $15 general admission, available at the door. All attendees will receive a 25% discount coupon for admission to the exhibition, on display through Dec. 31, 2024 at the society’s 489 Congress St. Portland location.

Preceding the show, all are invited to the Hall of Fame Museum Open House (by donation) from 10 a.m. to noon in the lower level of the Silver Spur.
