WATERVILLE — Gabriel Cedeno had a hat trick to lead Waterville past Medomak Valley 5-0 in boys soccer action Tuesday.

Ethan Goodrich added a goal and three assists for Waterville (7-1-0) while Garrett Gendreau had the other goal. Hunter Willets chipped in an assist and Dustin Bearce made 15 saves.

Dima Cheesman stopped 14 shots for the Panthers (5-2-2).

MOUNT VIEW 3, BELFAST 1: Tanner Oathout scored two goals to seal a victory for the Mustangs in Belfast.

Stuart Knowlton added a goal for Mount View (7-0-0).

Alden Leonard scored the lone goal for the Lions (3-6-0).

LEAVITT 4, ERSKINE 3: Jake Dening’s penalty kick in the second overtime lifted the Hornets to the win in Turner.

Dening’s PK goal, which came with two minutes left, was the result of Serogzha Bezhenar being taken down in the 18-yard box. Bezhenar scored Leavitt’s (2-6) first goal, and Tyler Mates added two for the Hornets. Goalies Alex Corey and Vanya Bezhenar each made six saves.

Will Adamson, Chase Larrabee and Dominic Braun netted goals for Erskine (3-5), while goalie Parker Studholme stopped nine shots.

WINTHROP 3, LISBON 0: Nick Wagner had two goals and an assist as the Ramblers won in Winthrop.

Keenan Libby also scored for Winthrop (2-4-2), while Isaac Breau added two assists. Jaxon August made three saves in goal.

Camden Therrien had 15 saves for Lisbon (0-7-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

MEDOMAK VALLEY 3, WATERVILLE 2: The Panthers scored two second-half goals to earn the comeback victory in Waldoboro.

Scarlett Flint scored two goals and Grace Townsend had the other for Medomak Valley (8-1-0). Chloe Fox made four saves.

Sadie Williams scored both goals for the Purple Panthers (3-5-0) in the tough loss. Madison Gervais had an assist and Roselyn Martin made 13 saves.

MT. BLUE 8, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Alaya Smith and Lily Hastings scored two goals apiece to lead the Cougars past the Falcons on Rumford.

Natalee Orr, who scored one goal, and Nina Bogar each tallied a pair of assists for Mt. Blue (3-4). Kari Savage and Abby Dorr each contributed a goal and an assist, while Emma Embleton scored once and Rebekah Denio had an assist.

Mountain Valley (1-6-1) goalie Kloee Pelletier stopped five shots.

VOLLEYBALL

CONY 3, LAKE REGION 1: Addie Lebel had three aces, 10 kills, three blocks and two digs in a victory in Augusta.

Brooklyn Barbeau had three aces, four kills and 16 assists for the Rams (8-1). Hannah Kidd added six kills and four digs, while Kennedy Frye had two aces, three kills and five digs.

The Lakers fell to 3-3.
