Engraved on the West Pediment, above the front entrance of the United States of America Supreme Court Building are four simple but powerful words: “Equal Justice Under Law”

As of Nov. 25, 2024, may those words R.I.P.

But people of color, women, Native Americans, the poor, and the underprivileged in our country have always known that. It is the biggest lie that we are all taught from when we were young.

So, if you expect justice to be blind — forget it, you are just fooling yourself. It has never been that way, and it never will be, period.
