AUGUSTA — The Augusta Symphony Orchestra is set to host its annual Holiday Pops Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at the South Parish Church, 9 Church St.
The program begins with Mozart’s Divertimento in F major, followed by Albinoni’s Oboe Concerto in D minor with the ASO’s own Necia Enoch as oboe soloist.
After intermission, the orchestra will perform the “Waltz of the Flowers” from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, followed by selections from Handel’s Messiah. “A Christmas Festival” by Leroy Anderson rounds out the afternoon.
Admission is free, with donations accepted.
