AUGUSTA — Maine-based coffee chain Aroma Joe’s opened its second location in Augusta this week.

The new shop at 3 Bangor St., near Cony Circle, is across the Kennebec River from the Aroma Joe’s at the Citgo gas station at 205 Western Ave.

Early risers will be able to get their fix of coffee and breakfast food half an hour earlier, with the store’s drive-thru and walk-up window open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Western Avenue shop is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The chain operates coffee shops across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida, according to its website.
