Deputy police Chief Shane Cote said the flashing crosswalk lights were activated on the east side of the street where the UMF’s Admissions Office is, Deputy police Chief Shane Cote said. The lights are where the vehicle was traveling, were working but the west side flashing lights closest to Scott Hall were not.

They were being repaired by the town Wednesday morning.
