  According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Shawn P. Hickey was killed Monday in Jefferson when he apparently became trapped under his tractor.

  Police Detective Scott Duff acted in 'self-defense' by firing at Frank Foss Jr. twice after Foss did not surrender to police and pointed a gun at Duff, according to the Office of the Maine Attorney General report.

  Police continue search for man wanted on firearms charges in Dresden

  The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is looking for Frank Foss Jr., who is wanted for unlawful possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violating conditions of release, and was believed to be camping in a wooded area near the Dresden-Wiscasset town line, where their search Saturday blocked access to several roads.
