Across central Maine, voters turned out to choose city and town officials and vote on school district budget validation referendums. Here’s a snapshot of the unofficial results.

SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Augusta Schools: Budget passes, 776-303.

Regional School Unit 2: Budget passes 1,147-762. Dresden, 300 yes to 213 no; Farmingdale, 176-125; Hallowell, 281-62; and Monmouth, 390-362.

Regional School Unit 3 includes 11 communities. Locally, Unity voted 87-64 to pass the budget.

Regional School Unit 4 includes 3 communities. Locally, Litchfield voted against the budget, 357-196.

Regional School Unit 9: Budget passes, 1150-725. Chesterville, 62-63; Farmington, 381-193; Industry 89-63; New Sharon, 112-91; New Vineyard, 42-47; Starks, 39-17; Temple, 38-31; Vienna, 48-29; Weld, 44-48; Wilton, 295-143.

Maine Administrative School District 11: Budget passes, 641-348. Gardiner, 250-121; Pittston, 126-89; Randolph, 91-34; and West Gardiner, 174-106.

Regional School Unit 12 includes 7 communities, but not all results were available. Locally, Chelsea voted for passage, 190-98.

Regional School Unit 18 includes 5 communities, but not all results were available. Locally, Sidney voted for passage, 246-139; as did China, 328-181.

Regional School Unit 38 includes 4 communities, but not all results were available. Locally, Manchester voted for passage, 311-86; as did Readfield, 380-175.

Maine School Administrative District 49:  Budget passes 743-632. Albion, 122-116; Benton, 131-142; Clinton, 199-175; and Fairfield, 291-199.

Regional School Unit 54: Budget passes 976-571.

Maine School Administrative District 58: Budget passes, 273-221. Avon, 30-21; Kingfield, 119-72; Phillips, 68-66; Strong, 56-62.

Richmond School District: Budget passes 351-174.

Chelsea: Board of Selectmen — Dustin Freeman 87, Sherri Truman 186.

Litchfield: Board of Selectmen (1 seat) — Clarence R. Gowell III 285, Thomas J. Pelletier 241. Budget Committee (1 seat) — Raymond Bouchard 209, Elton Wade 285.

Readfield: Board of Selectmen (1 seat) – Carol Doorenbos 246, Sean Keegan 385, Jaaron Shaw 361.

In Lincoln County: 

Dresden: Board of Selectman (1 seat) — Jeffrey Bickford 252, Gary Getchell 273. Mineral extraction facilities and operations moratorium ordinance passes, 241-240.

In Sagadahoc County: 

Richmond: Board of Selectmen (2 seats) — Wilfred G. Berdan II 110, Ann H. Page 164, Tracy L. Tuttle 360, Brian K. York 242; Question 1: Land use ordinance amendments fail, 231 yeses to 274 nos.

In Somerset County: 

Skowhegan: Board of Selectmen — Amber Lambke 526, Elijah Soll 416, Harold Bigelow 355, Newell Graf 256, Aaron Crocker 121. Road Commissioner — Jason Finley 621, Casey Quimby 244; SAD 54 board of directors — Michelle Kelso 503, Lynda Quinn 713, Amy Rouse 498.

Smithfield: Question 1: Spend $118,000 on new municipal building roof — passes 68-13.

Madison: SAD 49 board of directors (3 seats) — Timothy Curtis 335, Carla Franzose 255, Joseph Hayden 255, Kathleen Hayden 235, Chelsea VanGorden 177.

In Waldo County: 

Freedom: RSU 3 board of directors — Eleanor Hess 67, Samantha Turner 55.
